Randy has a broad litigation practice that encompasses class actions (on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants), professional liability, securities litigation, regulatory proceedings, CCAA litigation and labour and employment disputes. He has appeared as counsel before all levels of courts in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before the Ontario Securities Commission, the Ontario Racing Commission and the Ontario Financial Services Commission.

As part of Randy’s class action practice, he has also acted as the court appointed Monitor in several high profile class action disputes including the Parsons v. Canadian Red Cross (Hepatitis C tainted blood), Smith v. Brockton (Walkerton), Wilson v. Servier Canada Inc. and the recent Nortel securities litigation.

Randy received an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998. Randy clerked for the Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice from 1998-1999 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2000.

Randy has also been a Guest Lecturer in Class Action Procedure and Legal Research and Writing at Osgoode Hall Law School. 

Randy is also a member of the Advocates' Society and the Ontario Bar Association.
