Greg has a varied practice which includes advocacy before the Courts and administrative tribunals on a broad range of issues. Greg represents clients in commercial litigation, employment litigation, securities and financial regulatory investigations, and expropriation matters. Greg has appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario. In addition, his practice involves advocacy before the Ontario Municipal Board as well as financial and securities regulators including the Ontario Securities Commission and the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada.
Prior to joining Rueter Scargall Bennett LLP in 2007, Greg worked as counsel in the Trade Law Bureau of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade where he appeared for Canada before the World Trade Organization in cases concerning the softwood lumber dispute with the United States and Canada’s regime for dairy product exports.
Greg received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2000 and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. Greg also earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University where he graduated with distinction in 1997.
Greg is a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Advocates’ Society.
